In accordance with the Australian Federal Legislation, all corded blinds installed (prior to 2010) in properties are required to adhere to the Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard – Corded Internal Window Coverings) Regulations 2010 (Cth) (Blind Cord Regulations) and the Competition and Consumer Corded Internal Window Coverings Safety Standard 2014 (Cth) (Blind Cord Standard).
